Greenhouse Alternatives for Companies Hiring in Turkey

Greenhouse Alternatives for Companies Hiring in Turkey

Good alternatives to Greenhouse for a company hiring in Turkey fall into three groups: lighter global ATS platforms such as Workable, Teamtailor, Recruitee and Ashby; Turkey-focused products such as Hiroo, SorsX, Peoplise, IKAI HR and HrPanda; and AI screening and interview platforms such as Jobbar.AI, which sit on the sourcing and evaluation side of the process. Which group fits depends less on feature lists than on why you are leaving Greenhouse and where your candidates come from. If you hire across many countries and need structured interview kits and a deep integration ecosystem, Greenhouse or another global ATS is usually still the right answer.

Why teams in Turkey look for a Greenhouse alternative

Greenhouse is built for structured hiring at scale: scorecards, multi-stage approval flows, interview plans and detailed reporting. For a large recruiting function with process discipline, those are real strengths.

Teams hiring mainly in Turkey tend to look elsewhere for one of four reasons:

  • It is more than they use. Multi-level offer approvals, funnel analytics and per-role competency matrices get configured once and then ignored when a company makes a dozen hires a year.
  • Local candidate channels. Most white-collar applications in Turkey come through Kariyer.net, with Secretcv and LinkedIn behind it. A global ATS usually treats these as an edge case, so applications end up re-entered by hand.
  • Turkish-language CVs. Turkish is agglutinative and has the dotted and dotless i, which quietly breaks matching that was tuned on English. We cover this in detail in AI CV screening for Turkish-language resumes.
  • Currency and cost. Contracts billed in USD or EUR move with the exchange rate, and renewal combines the vendor's price increase with the currency movement. See what applicant tracking software costs in Turkey.

Write down which of these is your actual reason. "Too expensive" and "the team does not use it" lead to different products. The second is an adoption problem, and a cheaper tool will not fix it.

The three groups of alternatives

Group Examples Best fit when Watch out for
Lighter global ATS Workable, Teamtailor, Recruitee, Ashby, SmartRecruiters You hire in several countries, English is your working language, or you need a broad integration ecosystem Same Kariyer.net and Turkish CV questions as Greenhouse; pricing models differ a lot
Turkey-focused tools Hiroo, SorsX, Peoplise, IKAI HR, HrPanda, Kolay İK Most applicants come through local channels, the team prefers a Turkish interface, or you want hands-on local support "Local" does not guarantee good Turkish parsing; some are HR suites with a hiring module on the side
AI screening and interview platforms Jobbar.AI and similar tools Your bottleneck is reading hundreds of applications or finding candidates who are not applying Some of these replace an ATS, some sit next to one; clarify which before buying

Lighter global ATS platforms

These answer the same problem as Greenhouse with less configuration. They make sense if Turkey is one office among several and your reporting has to consolidate globally. They do not have an automatic advantage over Greenhouse on Turkish CVs or local job boards, so test each one on both. Do not compare list prices directly: per-seat, per-position and flat plans produce very different bills for the same usage.

Turkey-focused tools

These tend to be stronger on local job-board connections, a Turkish interface and support in your working hours, and they bill in lira more often. Check scope carefully: some offer a full hiring pipeline, while others are HR management suites where recruiting is a secondary module.

AI screening and interview platforms

If the real problem is volume (400 applications for one role) or sourcing (the right people are not applying), a classic ATS will not solve it however well it is configured. This is where Jobbar.AI sits. According to our product page and FAQ, Jobbar.AI:

  • analyses CVs in Turkish and English and scores and ranks candidates against the role's requirements
  • compares candidates side by side to build a shortlist
  • runs automated voice and video interviews with AI evaluation, plus live interviews
  • sources candidates from your own pool and from the internet, with LinkedIn integration
  • manages job postings and a candidate pool, and is KVKK and GDPR compliant

On Kariyer.net, to be precise: you can paste a Kariyer.net or LinkedIn job link and Jobbar imports the posting content, and you can bulk-upload PDF and DOCX CVs downloaded from Kariyer.net, which are then scored in one pass. There is no automatic sync that pulls Kariyer.net applications in on its own. We explain the difference in our (Turkish) post on Kariyer.net integrations.

What you can drop, and what you should not

Moving off Greenhouse is easier when you know which features you actually used. In a small or mid-sized team these are usually safe to lose:

  • Multi-level approval chains. Friction without value in a company of thirty people.
  • Detailed funnel analytics. At twelve hires a year the numbers are not statistically meaningful. A view of how many candidates sit at each stage is enough.
  • Heavy scorecard infrastructure. Three or four standard questions and a shared notes field often work better, because people actually fill them in.
  • A large integration marketplace. Useful when you run dozens of tools, not when you run three.

These become more important as the team gets smaller:

  • A searchable candidate pool. Finding last year's strong runner-up for this year's opening can pay for the software on its own.
  • Feedback from outside HR. The decision often sits with a founder or department head who will not log into a new system. They need a way to respond without doing so.
  • Turkish CV performance. If your pool is mostly Turkish, this comes before the feature list. Test with your own CVs.
  • Data portability. Smaller companies switch systems more often. Make sure you can export everything in a usable format.

One warning. Simpler is not always better. Structured interviews are a well-established predictor of hiring quality. You can drop the scorecard software, but keep asking every candidate for a role the same questions, even if that lives in a shared document.

How to decide in three steps

  1. Write your reason in one sentence. Cost, adoption, local channels and Turkish CVs each point to a different group.
  2. List what you used in Greenhouse in the last six months. A short list means an easy migration.
  3. Demo with your own data. Your open role, your own Turkish CVs, end to end. A prepared demo dataset shows a product at its best, not as it will run for you.

When Greenhouse is still the better choice: you hire in many countries, you rely on its structured hiring workflow and integrations, and Turkey is a small share of your volume. In that case adding a local tool for Turkish screening may be better than replacing the ATS.

Frequently asked questions

Is Jobbar.AI a direct Greenhouse replacement? It covers job postings, a candidate pool, CV analysis, candidate comparison and interviews. Whether that is enough depends on what you used in Greenhouse. If you depend on Greenhouse-style approval workflows, scorecards and a wide integration ecosystem, treat it as a screening and sourcing layer and test the fit with your own roles.

Which Greenhouse alternatives integrate with Kariyer.net? Ask every vendor whether they post out to Kariyer.net or pull applications in, and how often. These are very different amounts of saved work. Jobbar.AI imports postings by URL and accepts bulk CV uploads but does not sync applications automatically.

What about KVKK? KVKK is close to GDPR in shape but differs on cross-border transfer and consent records. A GDPR page does not answer the KVKK question. Our guide to recruitment software in Turkey lists what to ask.
